Native Americans Symbols Project
You are going to create a message in Native American symbols today! Follow these steps to complete this project:
1. Research and read through all Native American Symbols
2. Take notes on which symbols you want to use, and write a message in a Pages document on your computer (use split screen). You must use AT LEAST 5 SYMBOLS. Also, you must MAKE YOUR MESSAGE MEANINGFUL.
3. Open up Sketches II on your iPad, and draw all the symbols in your message. Think about your artwork, and MAKE SURE YOUR SYMBOLS ARE NEAT AND CLEAN.
4. Bring your drawing to Mr. Weimer for approval.
5. Save your Sketches image to your photo roll. Email the image to yourself using your iPad. Sign into your email on your computer, and print your image to the lab printer.
6. Create a "QR Code" that connects to a written summary of what each symbol means, and write 3-5 sentences on why you chose these symbols. DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME! :)
7. Glue your printed picture and QR Code to a piece of construction paper, and write your name on the top in neat writing with a black marker.
8. Hang and display your work on the wall in the TEAMS lab!
