Steps For Our Project
1. Find a picture of a dog, or a butterfly on KidRex. Click on the button above to open up this page.
2. Find a picture online and click shift, command, and 4 to take the picture.
3. Open pages and drag your picture in from the desktop.
4.Then open iPhoto and drag the photo in. Use iPhoto to change the exposure of your picture to what your animal would see.
5. After you Photoshop your picture, shift, command, 4 to save your new photo.
6. Put your new photo in to pages so it is side by side of your original picture.
7. Re-read this page of information on the animals, then explain by typing a paragraph (4-5 sentences) about how your animal see differently than you.

Project Extension: SOUND WAVES!
In this project extension for your light and sound unit, use the tool below to further understand sound waves! There are three steps to this project:
1. Create a sign wave - take a screen shot
2. Create a square wave - take a screen shot
3. Create your own sound! - take a screen shot
4. Put all of your pictures into a Pages document, and create an information sheet on sound. For each wave of sound, you must include the following information:
-What type of sound is it? (sign wave, square wave, your own sound)
-How many units HIGH are your waves?
-How many units WIDE are your waves?
